Right Buy (2012 - 2015)
iOS Apps for Smart Shopping
We built two iOS apps that helped 500K people save money while shopping. The apps were:
- RightBuy: Coupon disvoer app that simplified finding and using in-store or online coupons.
- Dibs: Helped users discover products tailored to their preferences including markdowns.
Scipym (2006 - 2009)
Photo Hosting
A photo-hosting site that paid people for views to their uploaded photos. I created plugins for common forums hosting software (Invision & phpBB.) I convinced several high-traffic forums to replace their image hosting with Scipym. This reduced their image hosting costs and gave them an additional revenue stream. It gained a lot of traffic pretty quickly.
Slury (2006 - 2007)
News Aggregator
Slury was a news aggregation service, similar to Digg.
Bargain Mantra (2004 - 2007)
E-commerce site for Bollywood Entertainment
Bargain Mantra emerged as a niche e-commerce destination, specializing in CDs and DVDs from Bollywood movies. It started as a way to monetize traffic created by Bollywood Mantra.
Bollywood Mantra (2003 - 2015)
Bollywood News Portal
A website offering the latest news, reviews, and photo galleries related to Bollywood movies and actors. It started as a project to learn PHP and MySQL and grew into a popular Bollywood news destination.
